What will happen now?

In the mail sent by Google, it is written that after September 27, if a user using Android 2.3.7 or lower version tries to sign-in to any Google supported app like Gmail and YouTube, On the screen of the phone, 'Username or password error' will be written. The web versions of these apps will also not work.
