Cricket IPL 2021: Sunrisers Hyderab beat Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets


Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by seven wickets in the 40th match of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Batting first in this match played in Dubai, Rajasthan scored 164 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Sunrisers achieved the target of 165 runs losing 3 wickets in 18.3 overs.

Jason Roy scored a brilliant half-century while debuting for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Roy along with Wriddhiman Saha gave Hyderabad a quick start. Both added 57 runs for the first wicket. After this, Roy along with captain Kane Williamson made another half-century partnership to get Rajasthan out of the match.

Jason Roy scored 60 runs in 42 balls. 8 fours and a six. Saha got out on 18 and Priyam Garg for zero. Kane Williamson 51 and Abhishek Sharma remained unbeaten on 21. Both added 48 not out for the fourth wicket. Williamson faced 41 balls. Hit 5 fours and 1 six.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is in the last position in the points table. This is only his second win this season. This is Rajasthan's sixth defeat in 10 matches. The team has only 8 points. The team is at number six. This is Hyderabad's only second win in 10 matches. He has 4 marks.

Earlier, Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson, batting amazingly, played an innings of 82 runs in 57 balls. Samson hit 7 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. Apart from Samson, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 36 runs. Lomror returned unbeaten on 29.

However, in the last two overs, Rajasthan's team played very poorly and scored 11 runs in 12 balls. Hyderabad fast bowler Siddharth Kaul took 2 wickets for 4 runs in the last over. In which the wickets of Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag were included.
