Roohi movie Box Office Collection Day 4: The magic of 'Roohi' went well on Sunday

The magic of Raju Rao, Jahnavi Kapoor, and Varun Sharma's horror-thriller film Roohi went to the box office. The film made more than 12 crore net collections in the opening days, earning excellently in the opening weekend. The film industry is also excited by this sign of the return of viewers to cinemas deserted after the Coronavirus pandemic.

Roohi is the first major Bollywood release after lockdown due to the Coronavirus outbreak in 2020. That is why Trade was also waiting for the release of this film. Looking at Roohi's collections, there is hope in the film industry now. At least it is comforting that audiences are returning to theaters. Roohi got a 4-day long opening weekend, released on Mahashivratri on March 11. As per the data provided by the film producer company Maddock Films, the film had an opening of 3.06 crores. Given the situation, it was considered a positive start.

Collections declined on the second day on Friday and collected 2.25 crore. With the opening of the weekend on Saturday on the third day, the graph of the collections once again went up and Roohi collected 3.42 crores. On Sunday, the film rocked the box office and made a grand net collection of 3.85 crores, which combined Roohi's net collection to 12.58 crores in 4 days long opening weekend.

It is the best opening weekend among films released after lockdown. However, the film's collections are much lower than the Stree. Released on 31 August 2018, Stree had a net collection of about 32 crores in the opening weekend of 3 days. However, under the current circumstances, Roohi's collections are considered encouraging. A house full board was also seen outside the Getty-Galaxy theater in Mumbai on Sunday.

Roohi, directed by Hardik Mehta, is the second film of producer Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy Universe. At the same time, this is also the second film of Jahnavi Kapoor, which is released in theaters. Jahnavi made his debut with the 2018 film Dhadak. After this, Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl was scheduled to be released in theaters in 2020, but the cinemas closed due to pandemic and Gunjan Saxena was streamed on Netflix.
